It's set to be one of the greatest events to take place in Mount Isa this year! Introducing Wonderland Under the Stars! From the team of the 19th century Belgian travelling Wonderland Spiegeltent circus, this event will bring out the fascination and curiosities from the child within you.
Wonderland Under the Stars is a partnership with the Mount Isa City Council which will take place over 3 days in Kruttschnitt Oval on Friday, 23 October 2020 from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday, 24 October 2020 from 5pm to 10pm and Sunday, 25 October 2020 from 9.30am to 2pm. You can expect world-class entertainment, nostalgic Ferris wheels and aviator swing rides complete with food trucks and even a fully licensed bar set under the Outback night skies.
Casey Barnes Band & Special Guests Live
For two nights only (Friday and Saturday), the renowned Gold Coast country music star Casey Barnes will be playing in the spectacular open theatre.
Riding off his fame that was founded only a couple years ago, 2019 saw his calendar completely booked out with festivals and tours, including several stadium outings in America such as South Dakota and Kansas City. His reputation has been widely acclaimed by entertainers worldwide, having opened for performances at the Las Vegas Professional Bull Riding World Finals. An electric entertainer that relentlessly excels in live performances, Casey Barnes has won the Groundwater Festival's People's Choice Award.
With over 8.62 million streams, 177,500 loyal monthly listeners, 45,000 social media followers, Independent Country Music Association Awards, a Gold Coast Music Award, and several Golden Guitar nominations, Casey Barnes is the ultimate depiction of an exceptional entertainer. The event is opened to patrons under 18 years old, however, they must be accompanied by an adult and must have a valid ticket for the show. Costs range from $49 to $790 with doors opening at 6pm for a 7pm show start time.
Circus Wonderland
Taking place on Friday and Saturday, Circus Wonderland is the epic highlight of the event. It's time to roll up and shimmy up onto the edge of your seat as thrilling acts and performances amuse you with their class acts on a specially made stage for the circus.
Immerse yourself into a golden era of circus entertainment, where curiosity, wonder and amazement will entice you. Featuring world class circus performers with some of the most unique, jaw dropping antics, Wonderland Under the Stars will not cease to impress.

Club Briefs
The epic all male cabaret adored by Queensland, Club Briefs is a burlesque favourite and is happening on Saturday at 9.30pm.
Extravagance and fashion will have heads turning with birdbath boylesque, yo-yo tricks that will have your imagination running, high flying circus bandits, fiery fanfares, show stopping drag artists, playful banter, irreverent interludes, questionable gender commenters, and so much more.
Club Briefs goes way back to 2013 when they made the worldwide stage as leaders in cabaret and burlesque. In 2014 they won the Best Circus Award at Fringe World, selling out at London, Edinburgh, Perth and Adelaide Festivals, and going on to win two Green Room Awards in 2015.
Full of flamboyant fun, Club Briefs is a must for those looking for a radical sense of cheekiness give how its the drag party you always wished you were invited to.
A 60 minute performance with strobe lighting, coarse language, nudity and adult themes, Club Briefs is strictly 18+.
Family Day
An all-inclusive fun day for families and friends, Family Day by Wonderland Under the Stars takes place on Sunday, 25 October at 11am at Kruttschnitt Oval in Mount Isa next to the Fun Park. You have to book tickets in advance to avoid missing out on the fun.
