COVID-19 UPDATE: Changes to Check Ins at Pubs and Clubs

COVID-19 UPDATE: Changes to Check Ins at Pubs and Clubs
on 23 December 2020 in General News

From Wednesday 23 December 2020, venues including pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes must now move to digital record keeping of patron contact details. Paper-based record keeping will no longer be accepted by QLD health authorities. This is a Queensland Government directive for our industry and compliance is mandatory.

Upon entering our venue, we ask that you check in via the QR code provided. This can be done in two ways:

1. Scanning the QR code provided on signage at each entrance.

2. Patrons without a compatible smartphone device seek assistance from a staff member who will manually enter your details via iPad in venue.

There will also be the option of scanning a QR code upon exiting, to better help authorities in their contact tracing efforts.

We kindly ask for your assistance and patience as we continue to navigate through these changes to ensure the safety of everyone who enters our venue, and in the instance that someone refuses to provide their details for contact tracing, our Management are required to refuse entry to the venue.

As always, we will be reinforcing measures such as physical distancing, and following all regulations and guidance provided by health authorities to ensure that our business is COVID Safe.
